Nick Gibb visits Nyewood Infant School

Nick Gibb visited Nyewood Infant School in Bognor Regis to meet the children and the head teacher, Mrs Jacqueline Cobb. The school has recently been granted a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted and gained ‘Outstanding’ in their Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools.

Nick Gibb attends internet safety session at Edward Bryant School

Nick Gibb attended a Google training session for school children called ‘Be Internet Legends’ at Edward Bryant Primary School in Bognor Regis.  This is part of a wider campaign, offering primary school teachers across the UK the chance to teach children about internet safety.

Nick Gibb MP had the opportunity to test an anti-gravity treadmill which is on loan to the Laburnum Centre in Bognor Regis, at the invitation of Sarah Smith (Deputy Manager and Community Coordinator).

Nick Gibb meets Bognor Regis Knitting Circle

Nick Gibb MP met a group of ladies at the Laburnum Centre in Bognor Regis who meet twice a week to knit together. The group started at the Bognor Regis craft shop (since closed) and has been meeting for the last five years.

Nick Gibb Visits Slindon College

Nick Gibb MP visited Slindon College in Slindon, Arundel, at the invitation of its headmaster, Mr David Quick.  Slindon College is an independent school, specialising in children with specific special educational needs.

Nick Gibb met the newly appointed United Reform Church Southern Synod Chaplain Advocate for the Elderly, the Revd Dr Janet Hopewell. Janet is also an Associate Minister at the Pagham United Reform Church, St Ninian’s.
