Nick Gibb MP visited Crimsham Farm in Pagham to learn about their Alternative Education provision and also the Crimsham Veterans Hub.
The Alternative Education Provision is for children who, for whatever reason, struggle with mainstream school. The centre is staffed by 50 professionals and with lots of outdoor activity, including with a variety of animals and birds, children can develop and learn in different environment from school.
The Veterans Hub provides an outdoor meeting place, outside school hours (evenings and weekends) say that men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces can meet one another and socialise. The farm what provides therapeutic support for those veterans who may be suffering from post traumatic distress.
Nick Gibb said: “These 5 acres of rural land and woods are the perfect setting for an outdoor education centre for young people who need a break from the traditional classroom.
“Congratulations to everyone who has worked so hard to provide an exhilarating and safe environment for children.
