Nick Gibb MP joined members of Bognor Regis Tone Zone Running Club at Mirage Health & Wellbeing to launch their National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Yapton resident, Amanda Newton, who was left paralysed last year after a cycling accident.
The challenge will see seven Tone Zone runners climbing the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales, in 24 hours to raise money to buy Amanda a specialised racing wheelchair, as well as raising funds for Canine Partners, the assistance dog training charity.
Nick Gibb, said: "I have huge admiration for what they are doing. To complete three peaks inside 24 hours is unimaginable."
