Nick Gibb visited Nyewood Infant School in Bognor Regis to meet the children and the head teacher, Mrs Jacqueline Cobb. The school has recently been granted a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted and gained ‘Outstanding’ in their Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. After a tour of the school, Mr Gibb met members of the school council in Year 2 and spoke about working in parliament, their favourite subjects and what they wanted to be when they grow up.
"I very much enjoyed visiting the Infant School today and having a look round at what the children are learning in their lessons. It was wonderful to speak to the children who were curious about my role as an MP and to learn about their ambitions."
