Nick Gibb MP visited the Bognor Regis Museum in the final weeks before the museum closes for the winter on 27 November. The museum opens again just before Easter 2017.
Nick Gibb said: "Every year, our local museum improves with ever more interesting artefacts from the town's history. The museum is run by its curator, Chris Burstow and a team of 50 volunteers and a small group of trustees. This year saw 6000 visitors of all ages pass through its doors. The building was donated by Jenny and Barry Jones.
"This year, one of the new exhibits is a nineteenth century hay baler. There are also new interactive exhibits for children, such as a Meccano set that draws Spirograph patterns. For wet summer days, the Bognor Regis museum is now an important tourist attraction."
